> "Associated Stair lifts fitted a stair lift in my property on loan of £500 deposit and £1,070 paid when fitted then £70 a month’s rental in advance. When the workmen came the rail had to be altered. Twice before Christmas they had to be called out for repairs to the chair lift. Christmas Eve morning the chair lift tilted and I was on it. I tried calling Associated Stair Lifts but only got answer machine. The engineer came out on 27 December 2017. I had a phone call from the company offering 3 months’ rental on the goodwill of the stair lift, I said I wanted the full amount. The stair lift was taken out 2 February 2018. I informed them I had been in touch with Checkatrade and he replied I am sure I will be hearing from them. I’m a disabled 69 year old and don’t think I should be victim to him"
