## In customers' own words
_Verbatim quotes from this trader's public reviews, each attributed to its source:_
> "Ben installed electrics into my carport and did an excellent job, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of his work. He turned up on time, was polite, highly professional, and meticulous in his attention to detail and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. He was also very reasonably priced, compared to a few other traders on here, who quoted extortionate amounts for exactly the same work. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend him to others. Quality, 10/10."

> "Ben was a very pleasant young man to have work in our home. He made a very good first impression when we met him on our site visit and he quoted promptly. The work he carried out was to fit 'lantern' style lights to our kitchen and hallway, circuit extension to fit an outdoor electric socket and circuit extension to fit 3x spotlights on the front of my house/garage. All of the work is to a very high standard and looks perfect. He took time to ensure that everything was level to achieve the best visual effect. No mess left behind and he took care to protect the surfaces in our home. Thank you Ben. Thoroughly recommended."

## Before you hire an electrician
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
- Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
- Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
- Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
- Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work, and that they are current.
