There was also some very tricky work joining the new back tiled roof to the existing main thatched roof of the cottage which Darren resolved successfully. I had another cheaper quote but as they say “You get what you pay for” and I sensed I would get a more professional job from Darren - which I did!"

Our westerly facing gable end is exposed to the elements so Darren applied weather proofing which he had recommended. Communications were good throughout and he arranged for scaffolding to tackle the end wall and a skip to deal with the rubbish. The site was left clear at the end of the job. Overall a friendly and efficient service, which is highly recommended."
