_Verbatim quotes from this trader's public reviews, each attributed to its source:_
> "Prompt and reliable gave a free quote the finish was excellent and the area totally cleaned Would use him again and highly recommend him"

> "I have put off having ceilings and walls plastered in my house as the thought of how long it takes to do and the mess it makes gave me nightmares!! These two turned up and was finished within a few days, it was unbelievably efficient but even better was how clean they left it. The job its self is faultless and I’m still unsure on how they managed to do it so well! On top of all that they were incredibly pleasant. The finish they left and the price they charged me was that good I’ve decided to do the rest of the house and I’m actually looking forward it. A thousand percent recommend!!"

## Before you hire a builder
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- Never pay a large deposit up front. Agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
- Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
- Be wary of a cash-only price or pressure to start tomorrow. Both are red flags for an unaccountable job.
- Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
- Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work, and that they are current.
