## In customers' own words
_Verbatim quotes from this trader's public reviews, each attributed to its source:_
> "James visited out house to ascertain what the job was, which is why he got given the work, as out of all the places I got quotes from he was the only one that took the time to pop out and access what was being requested. He was very professional, carried out the work and cleaned up after he finished - very happy with the job and we now have a new double plug socket. When anyone asks me if I can recommend an Electrician I will now say yes and pass them James contact info."

> "Very pleased. My parents' house needed a full rewire. We were expecting a few issues as it had not been rewired since they moved in, and anticipated it hadn't for years before. The issues meant it took slightly longer than quoted, but was expected, and James communicated the updated timescales. Also had a new garage light and new sockets. We asked for some additional sockets during the work, and James was flexible about our changing plans. James was efficient and thorough, ensuring he tidied up after each day. I would recommend James ,and would definitely use him again for any electrical work."

## Before you hire an electrician
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
- Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
- Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
- Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
- Check any credential evidence, and that the business details independently check out.
