## In customers' own words
_Verbatim quotes from this trader's public reviews, each attributed to its source:_
> "First rate, on time clean and tidy. Very professional and a fair price, I would recommend him without hesitation."

> "Elecsmith provided and installed SWA cable and Cat5e SWA from our house consumer unit, to our workshop (garage) which included a replacement consumer unit, through to the rear and then down to our newly built Garden room (at first fix). The cable runs along the outside of our house were done beautifully, using low profile cable clips which looked super once completed. Great workmanship is evident throughout. Elecsmith also ensured we were not without power in the workshop for any longer than needed meaning we could reuse it the workshop with the replacement consumer unit the same day."

> "I just wanted to say that the Elecsmith team were a lovely, helpful and extremely professional company to have to update the electrics at my mothers house. I was relieved and grateful when they were able to recommend, source and buy the lights for the porch and bathroom which made the whole refit go smoothly and stress free for me as I was finding it difficult to choose what would be safe and suitable for both areas.. finally my mum was completely happy with their work and how clean they left the house after they finished each day so a big thumbs up for that too."

## Before you hire an electrician
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
- Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
- Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
- Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
- Check any credential evidence, and that the business details independently check out.
