## About
Elite Kitchen Designs was established in 1999 and has traded successfully from its office and workshop in Swinton during that period. Elite provides a full service from the initial survey through the design, manufacture and installation. Elite kitchens employs it's own staff to design, manufacture and install kitchens, we only employ sub contractors for building, plumbing and electrical works. All of our sub-contractors are qualified, registered with their own Trade Associations and have worked with us for many years. Elite manufactures all its own kitchen units which gives complete control over quality and delivery ensuring that the units are ready when we want them and any issues can be resolved without having to refer back to a third party. Manufacturing our own units also gives us the ability to build non-standard units when needed for example when boxing in boilers. Elite project manages the process from start to completion; we are the single point of contact for the customer. Elite understands the financial and emotional commitment taken by customers who want a new kitchen, we believe by controlling the following key stages we remove some of those worries.

## Before you hire an electrician
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
- Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
- Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
- Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
- Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work, and that they are current.
