We chose Grosvenor Builders and during each stage of the process we were guided through all aspects which included advice on optimisation budget, quality and comfort. We met with many prospective builders but finally decided to go with Grosvenor, despite a waiting time of over a year (which in itself was an indicator of quality). During the preplanning stages Fred was the only person who had a true ‘consultative approach’ and took detailed notes on what we wanted and possibilities based on our design. After we decided to go with Grovenor, we were constantly in touch with Fred who guided us on timings, helped with moving our stuff and set up the temporary kitchen. During the build stage, when actual works were taking place Dan and James were the best we could have asked for as they always had time to discuss and suggested options (we ended up getting an extra study room) – they actually became part of our family and now that they have left we actually miss have them around (they have an open invitation for lunch / dinner whenever they are working in the neighbourhood). Finally, post completion (and settlement) Fred has proactively been in touch for some ‘touches’ and optimisations which one comes across when newly constructed area is brought into use.
