Despite asking for all rotted wood to be replaced with wood, they used OSB board instead of treated timber for the fillets. These were said to be unsuitable by Building Control and three other roofers we spoke to said they would not use that material because it would fail prematurely. We have also spoken to CORC who also condemned the use of OSB board for fillets. We emailed GS Roofing three times to replace the fillets, telling them we would take legal action if they did not.
