> "We had a problem with our boiler whereby it was gaining too much pressure when the heating was turned on. We wanted it fixed and also a service. It was easy to book the initial call out. The engineer attended as promised and diagnosed the fault. We needed a new expansion chamber and PRV. We requested a quote and booked another appointment, which was attended as promised. The work was completed and we were happy with the overall service. The engineer was professional and friendly. There was a slight delay getting a quote but we appreciate it's a busy time of year. Definitely recommended!"

## Before you hire a gas engineer
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- By law, anyone working on your gas appliances must be on the Gas Safe Register. Ask to see their Gas Safe ID card and check the licence number at gassaferegister.co.uk before they start.
- Never let an unregistered person touch your gas: unsafe gas work risks carbon monoxide poisoning, fire and explosion, and is a criminal offence.
- For a boiler or appliance install, get the work and price in writing and keep the Gas Safe / Building Regulations certificate they are required to give you.
- Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
- Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time, not only the quality of the work.
