## In customers' own words
_Verbatim quotes from this trader's public reviews, each attributed to its source:_
> "Nathan was quick to respond to my Dads reach out on Checkatrade. His fascia boards and guttering had blown off and he needed a prompt fix. Nathan came as promised and told my Dad his options. He decided on a full Fascia board, soffit and guttering for the full house. Nathan also kept me informed as my Dad is elderly. They did a great job and as a result I also had my Gable ends capped by them for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend his company for price and workmanship. Thank you."

> "The guys did an incredible job, would highly recommend. Heavy rain was causing water to get into the house, obviously needing urgent attention. Nathan came round the morning after I posted to assess the problem. He quickly diagnosed that the rear guttering was damaged and blocked. The quote seemed very reasonable and they could do the work in a timely manner. Even with the bad weather around Christmas, they were able to do the work before we had any more leaks. They were polite and professional and did the job quickly on the day. We couldn't be happier with the results."

## Before you hire a roofer
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- Never agree to roof work from a cold-caller at your door or an unsolicited 'we noticed your roof' note. That is the classic roofing scam.
- Get a written quote that itemises access (scaffolding or a tower), the exact materials, and the workmanship guarantee, not a vague day rate.
- Be wary of demands for a large cash deposit; agree staged payments against work you can actually see completed.
- A major re-roof must meet building regulations. Prefer a roofer on the NFRC Competent Person Scheme (CompetentRoofer), who can self-certify the work and is vetted and inspected at least twice a year. Check they're listed at nfrccps.com before you commit.
- Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
