## In customers' own words
_Verbatim quotes from this trader's public reviews, each attributed to its source:_
> "KRA responded to a Checkatrade job post about an emergency callout. It was 10pm and all our electric sockets stopped working and the fuse box trip switch wouldn't reset. The engineer came quickly and painstakingly analysed each socket and the fuse box to establish where the problem was. He was friendly, professional and thorough. The issue was narrowed down to a wiring issue in one socket which will need further in-depth investigation. As a workaround, that socket was isolated and power was restored to all other sockets and our appliances were working again. Would highly recommend."

> "I needed a cooker disconnected during a flat clearance. KRA were extremely helpful, arranged to visit the next day and completed the task swiftly and professionally. I would definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them."

> "Friendly and efficient electrician attended and completed the job: replacing an outdoor light."

## Before you hire an electrician
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade — general guidance, not a claim about this business:_
- In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
- Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
- Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
- Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
- Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
