## In customers' own words
_Verbatim quotes from this trader's public reviews, each attributed to its source:_
> "We had just moved in to our house, and had to replace the oven. When the company came to install the oven we were told that the circuit that was there should have been running the old oven and that they wouldn't install the new one as an appropriate circuit was required. I found Mason on Checkatrade, contacted him to explain the situation. He came out the same day, assessed the job and quoted. He then came back 2 days later to carry out the work needed. From start to finish he was excellent, and I would highly recommend him. I will be using him again for sure! Thank you Mason very very much!"

> "Mason replied to an ad I placed on here and were quick to come to the property and provide a quote, which was to replace an existing EV charger with a new unit (allowing integration for the Intelligent Octopus tariff), install new consumer units and upgrade the existing wiring so both an EV and solar batteries could be charged. Mason recommended what was required and was available to undertake the work a couple of weeks later on a Saturday. The completed work was excellent. We'll be making use of M French Electrical Services again in future."

> "After attempting to DIY a kitchen light replacement from a flourescent tube to a new LED and struggling (which resulted in upstairs lighting not working), Mason came out late on a Sunday evening at a moment's notice and managed to fix the kitchen light, in the process unearthing a number of issues with how the lighting wiring had been done. He came back Monday morning and worked for most of the day to sort out the lighting circuit, even replacing the flourescent tube in our bathroom for us too. Mason was very professional, came at short notice and thorough with his work. Highly recommend him."

## Before you hire an electrician
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade — general guidance, not a claim about this business:_
- In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
- Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
- Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
- Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
- Check any credential evidence, and that the business details independently check out.
