Independant plumber identified: - the cistern had been fitted to the wall using only 1 bolt instead of 2 - as a result the cistern had never been level since fitting which caused untold pressure and stress on the cistern itself - water leaking over the top of the cistern - wrong sized washer - split in cistern - isolation screw fitted facing the wall - bathroom floor buckled due to consistent leaks. Replacement cistern purchased and refit at a cost to myself to rectify the ongoing issues."
