> "I used this trade to refurb a downstairs 7.5msq bathroom. Quoted 20 days at £240/day (£4800), but is very slow and unorganised taking 17.5 days to do only 30% of work at a cost of £4200 + materials. He was paid cash and refused to issue receipts. When asked for completion date was rude and did not tell me. He installed pipes and drainage that leaked, reduced the flow of water and installed faulty electrics and wanted to be paid extra to fix. I felt vulnerable and he was told to stop work, issued a legal notice and court proceedings after failing to make good or issue receipts."
