They installed the new bathroom (tiling, walk-in shower, basin and toilet). Before handing the completed bathroom to us they tested all the bathroom for leaks and checked everything functioned as expected. All work was carried to budget and finished on time. PEB advised as of options to consider and ways we could improve the room. We always knew what was happening during the re-furbishment. A minor overflow from the shower tray was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Trusted Traders) > "After two in-person meetings and viewing a previous job, we engaged Peter and Nye to complete extensive renovations of our ground floor and patio areas. It involved knocking two rooms together, raising ceiling height, levelling floor to remove internal steps, removal of large chimney breast, installation of new external doors and windows, installation of new kitchen units and appliances, creation of new boiler/utility room, creation of understairs cloakroom and storage area, replacing a ceiling and coving in a second room, replastering walls and fitting new skirting boards in a third room, creating a new raised patio and replacing two existing areas of flagstones, providing external powerpoints and power for future garden shed. All work was completed to a good standard, and very well project managed by Peter/Nye. We were always kept informed of progress and consulted whenever choices needed to be made. The team were cheerful, humorous and helpful, sometimes coming up with clever ways around problems. Eg. their skill at cutting down an existing good quality window meant we were able to use the existing RSJ, creating a new door opening alongside the window - a better result than we had anticipated. One miscommunication - we expected them to decorate at the end, but this was not included in price and not initially made clear to us.
