He was recommended by a friend and we had already seen his excellent work first hand in her house. Such a lovely guy, reliable, kind, friendly, helpful, and he put up with our dog jumping all over him too! Arrived very promptly in the mornings and worked with hardly a break all day. Just got on with it. Left everything very clean and tidy in the evenings too before returning next day. Got all the paint for us and quoted a good, very reasonable price for all materials and labour. Our room was really grubby from having had an open fire and then a wood burner, and we love burning candles too, so he certainly had his work cut out making it look like new again. Walls were all sanded pre painting, woodwork sanded, repaired/ filled defects, primed and top coated to perfection. Very happy with end result. What we love most about Alec is his obvious knowledge of his craft and attention to detail. His charges are more than fair for what he delivers.
