I am based in Loughton, Essex, and much of my work is from regular clients, word of mouth and Which Local recommendations. Over the years, many projects have taken me further afield, including London, Suffolk, and Berkshire. My key areas of expertise are painting and decorating, including wallpapering. We required the walls and ceilings of our stairs and landings to be painted as well as dado rails and stair spindles. SC Campbell gave us a quote which we were happy with and a starting time was arranged. The team arrived on time and were careful to cover the flooring. The team worked to time and finished at the exact time they had agreed. They tidied up at the end of each day and left the tools neatly and out of the way. Once the work was completed Steve made a quality control visit to make sure we were happy and nothing had been missed. We were delighted with the result and would definitely recommend SC Campbell for any decorating needs - you won’t be disappointed! Trusted Traders) > "We found Steve originally through Which Trusted Traders in 2018 and have used him several times since then for a range of different jobs both inside and on the outside of our Victorian terraced house. He and Vic first came in November 2018 and decorated the whole of our 3 floors of hallway, stairs and landings. They did such a fantastic job then that we subsequently engaged Steve to decorate 2 bedrooms and our living room in 2019 and 2020. He returned to decorate another bedroom in Jan 2022. We also employed him in September 2022 to decorate the outside of our house which required Steve to repair window ledges, by filling and sanding, as well as painting the outside of our house both front and back. A couple of our neighbours could see him working and were so impressed with the work he was doing that they engaged him themselves. We most recently have had to have substantial work done to secure our front bay and had new windows installed. Steve has returned to do all the necessary work including filling and the painting needed to decorate the bay. Steve is always prompt and friendly. He works tirelessly throughout the day and always ensures that the area he is working on is clean and tidy at the end of every day. His charges are fair and more than reasonable for the fantastic work he does. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
