> "Amir did a great job of fitting new ceramic floor tiles in 2 bathrooms. The quality of workmanship is very high and the difference this has made visually is amazing. He was punctual and completed the job in one and a half days. The price was reasonable although I had to source the materials myself which lead to a bit of confusion, so communication could’ve been slightly clearer on what I needed to buy. He went above and beyond to fix small issues which were identified during the job but not included in it. Overall very happy with work and would recommend!"

## Before you hire a roofer
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- Never agree to roof work from a cold-caller at your door or an unsolicited 'we noticed your roof' note. That is the classic roofing scam.
- Get a written quote that itemises access (scaffolding or a tower), the exact materials, and the workmanship guarantee, not a vague day rate.
- Be wary of demands for a large cash deposit; agree staged payments against work you can actually see completed.
- A major re-roof must meet building regulations. Prefer a roofer on the NFRC Competent Person Scheme (CompetentRoofer), who can self-certify the work and is vetted and inspected at least twice a year. Check they're listed at nfrccps.com before you commit.
- Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
