I was advised to use Cadent who wanted to charge £6,000 to move the gas pipe alone and I would have then needed a gas safe engineer to move the meter. I spoke to Jamie at The Maintenance Guys and he was as astonished as I was at this price. He went out of his way to find a solution for me, finding out that his engineers had the qualifications to do the meter move for me, at a fraction of the price, all the while being incredibly nice and understanding. I feel lucky to have found them"
