We wanted a single company to install a home solar array with battery storage plus replace an old boiler and fuse box from the kitchen with new units in the garage. Steve visited us, discussed the requirements, suggested some good options and quickly turned around the quote. We gave the go ahead, after which the whole process was smoothly delivered with quality workmanship, delivered on time by friendly professionals. The neatness throughout from the siting of the panels on the roofs, to batteries, fuse box and boiler in the garage is superb, and I would happily recommend this company.

Adept were prompt with communication and came back with a very competitive quote. The installation was super quick (10 panels on the roof, inverter and 3.2kwh battery in the loft, Eddi diverter for hot water) and all went smoothly. Steve and Matt were polite and tidy. A cancellation meant they got to us earlier than expected so the lead time was very short. Clarity on energy independence (backup power) would be good. I had asked whether the battery would provide power during a power cut and only found out additional costs would be involved to rig the system for this after installation. A relatively minor point, but it's useful to factor in options. I wonder whether it would be better to increase battery storage and not bother with the Eddi hot water. Hard to say at time of review - but through the summer the gas demand is really low for us, so it's a question of whether exports rate outweighs savings from lowering gas demand. Overall very happy.

The solar panels + battery market is a jungle, awash with all sorts of wonerful offers. However, you quickly get to weed out the pure sales guys who don't have the knowledge to answer all your questions. Researching the big National suppliers it seems user experience ranges from good to bad dependant on the logistics for that day and the installation crew you end up with. I wanted a company who was knowledgeable and could tailor a set of solutions to meet my expectations. Steven from Adept was the ONLY guy who actually went up on the roof and in the attic to ensure that his quote would be realistic and achievable. He also supervised the roof installations whilst carrying out the electrical installations himself. The 20 panels were up and running in under 2 days and I'm very pleased with the result with no surprise "extras" or complications. Would recommend without hesitation.

We were very happy with every aspect of the work. Communication was excellent and we had all of our questions and concerns answered promptly. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
