I am happy to recommend A&J. I urgently needed to disconnect an old electric cooker. Jacob replied very quickly to my ad on Checkatrade, providing a reasonable quote. He was friendly, prompt and tidy throughout. I will happily use A&J again.

Arranged visit to give a quote very quickly, which was emailed to me a couple of days later. I was impressed by Jacob's initial examination of the system pre quote, and the price was less than another firm's. Fitting was arranged for the following week, Jacob and Ashley arrived on time, were polite and friendly, had it fitted in less time than expected, and with no mess for me to clean up.

I had a whole house required. I felt communication with them was good, the way they carried out the job was good. When issues cropped up with rewiring certain areas it was discussed and a solution was found, expect in one area which doesn't seem to be ideal. They tried not to make too many holes in the walls. However they did not provide a guarantee & a electric certificate even though this was promised and it was on this basis I agreed to go with them, hence why the ratings are low. I emailed them about this but I have received no response and it's also why I won't be choose them again.
