Jonathan was asked to insulate the porch ceiling as the porch is open and the bedroom directly above is very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. He inserted 100mm loft insulation and covered with ordinary plasterboard. I asked him on three occasions over the next year, if he would replace the plasterboard with insulating plasterboard, as the work had made no difference and I paid quite a lot of money for this work. He refused point blank to help. Beware if you have any issues with this carpenter!

Jonathan placed 100mm insulation above the porch ceiling and placed ordinary plasterboard over. This made little to no difference despite being charged £400. I asked at least twice over the following year if he could please return and overlay insulated plasterboard. He refused point blank. It would have only required a small amount of time and materials.
