I called on Tuesday 12th September to arrange for someone to fit a new lock to our shop door which need replacing, and someone was out to us first thing in the morning on Wednesday 13th September. New lock fitted and working perfectly. Excellent service

I want to said this comment, I do not normally send comments but this company Blakes Security Systems Ltd, really helped me out, I was passed on this company from a fellow worker, as it is so hard to trust anyone. The company look at the problem which my Door handle came off arranged a date came when expected, completed what was needed plus also instructed me what was wrong, they also advised other work needed to be done which was the gearbox to the Door, which was also completed, both jobs were completed to a very high standard, I would recommend this company 100% the staff are nice and very helpful as well. Thank you Blakes Security, for sorting out my problem very much appreciated, I will def use this company again, I have full trust and confidence in this company to fix problems. Thank you.

Blakes Security Systems were very helpful from the first email all the way through to getting my safe opened. They requested photos of the safe and as much information as possible from me about the safe. Having got the best information I could give them they gave me a fixed price for an engineer to visit my home and eventually open the safe. He had problems with picking the lock, but did his best, but finally had to resort to other methods which allowed him to gain access to the internal locking mechanism which meant he was able to open my safe. He was very determined to get into the safe, and once he had it open he then fitted a new key locking barrel and ensured the safe would now work perfectly in future before he left us. Very good service, highly recommended.

Called Blakes at 11am with a safe that needed opening. Engineer on site at 1pm. Excellent service. Would recommend.

I replaced my ageing wireless burglar alarm last year when the local company I had been using for 12 years sold out to a faceless national brand. I needed to go local again and it was time for a new alarm anyway as replacement parts for the old system were becoming hard to get. Cliff Blake (whom I'd previously used several times for locksmith duties and had proved to be very reliable) gave me a quote, explained how the new system would work and look and promised me "Trust me, you'll love it". Technology has marched on a lot in the past 12 years. And Cliff was right. The new system is fantastic compared to the old one and the care that James the fitter (who is married to Cliff's daughter - it's a proper local family business) took with the installation was second to none. A really neat job that is a pleasure to own and use. The invoice I've quoted on 27th June 2024 was for James to come back and remove some of the sensors temporarily while I was having a replacement front door and two upstairs windows fitted and then replace them onto the new windows a few days later. All of this was also done perfectly and James always turns up at exactly the time we are told he will. The price was very sensible for the two visits to complete this work. I really can't fault them in any way.

Needed replacement lock on conservatory door and repair to a lock on a rear access door. Very satisfied with the work carried out. Friendly locksmith / very experienced and efficient. Also, customer service is great. No nonsense / no hassle. Highly recommend.

I had a problem with a lock on my back door. I found Blake’s Security Systems online, called them and a helpful woman was able to get someone to me within 15 minutes. The locksmith who attended was very friendly and helpful, able to identify and solve the problem within 20 minutes. All resolved promptly within the hour. Couldn’t recommend them more.
