They delivered very high quality workmanship, a total understanding of the vision, and came with a professional, punctual, polite and all round pleasant team. And the real secret sauce? Crystal clear communication throughout. None of the dreaded disappearing act! No project is without its hurdles, but James kept me informed every step of the way, making the whole experience a joy. My bungalow needed to be gutted internally and completely rebuilt. James Pine of Clear-Cut Construction was engaged to undertake the work, and proved to be an excellent choice. From the beginning James was enthusiastic about the job, so much so that he suggested a complete redesign of the interior which proved to be an inspired project. James and his team finished all aspects of the work on budget and in a timely manner, keeping me informed of progress at each stage. Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Clear-Cut Construction and would certainly employ them again if needs be.

We used James and his team for a 1st floor extension to convert our bungalow in to a house. From the start, the communication was clear and James helped us throughout the project overcome a variety of issues that were not originally accounted for. The workmanship was completed to an immaculate standard across all different parts of the build. Workers were polite, clean, tidy and punctual. James completed our side extension and we're massively pleased with how it turned out. He had great communication throughout and kept the project on schedule, finishing within the agreed timeline. He offered input to design decisions and helped to keep the cost down where possible. When issues with utilities, James dealt with this promptly without making a fuss. James recently completed our loft conversion in SE22 and the work is finished to a fantastic standard! This is not the first time working with James and he has kept his standard consistently high throughout. The project was a little over budget due to some last min design changes but was still completed on time.
