The problem was identified quickly and he was able to fix it straight away. Very pleased I have a working door and the engineer was polite and I felt perfectly safe having him in my home.

I asked DG Servicing to contact me about some work but have not received a reply to date. I was asked to do this Review, but unfortunately they work has not been carried out because they haven’t contacted me.

I had two jobs done at the same time: A) One of the French doors would not lock easily - whole door had dropped B) Double glazed single door to back of garage would not lock at all. The engineer and his assistant arrived promptly and assessed the problem for each door. Having explained the procedure required to fix each door, they checked I was happy for them to carry out the repairs. They worked swiftly and efficiently and cleared up after themselves, leaving me with two perfectly smoothly locking doors. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. The receptionist was extremely helpful in arranging a visit at short notice, taking on board my time constraints. When it clearly would be impossible for the engineer to add my callout on to the end of the Tuesday, she phoned me to confirm that it would be ok for the engineers to visit first thing the next morning. I also used this company many years ago and found their service exemplary. I am delighted to be asked to complete a Which? review for this outstanding company.

Replaced patio door double glazing quickly and efficiently.

The old UPVC door locking system broke in the locked position stopping the door from opening. DG were contacted and their team were on the job very quickly. The door was very old and the handle mechanism was also very worn and loose. The locksmith assessed the situation and advised that they could change the damaged mechanism complete with a modern equivalent. They left the door in a secure condition while obtaining the materials. Within a week they were back on site, the old lock and linkages removed and replaced with a complete new system within two hours. Good, friendly service, nice people to do business with.

Fast and friendly service, arrived exactly on time, the lady in the office who took my call was excellent, arranged a visit that afternoon, the 2 men who did the job, replacing the rollers on my patio door, were also excellent. Would certainly recommend this company.
