Dave and the team undertook the groundwork’s for us on our 4 bed Eco self build. We had already had a ground engineering survey done so knew the ground was soft and the foundations would need to be deep strip (2m). Despite starting in winter and encountering issues such as additional underground cellars which required extra works, the guys stuck to the task and completed on time, working Saturdays when required. Dave was transparent and fair with the additional costs for extras and was on site every day, giving us peace of mind. As we have an offsite constructed timber frame it was critical that the brick and blockwork was within 5mm tolerance, and it was spot on. Even though they have finished this work, Dave and James have been back to help advise us with other works. We will have them back to fit the Water Treatment plant later in the build and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. If I could give more than 5 starts I would!

We had an untidy grassed area which has been transformed into a very useful paved area, the quote came within days and work completed shortly after. Nauris and Dave were punctual /conscientious and hard working, nothing was too much trouble to the point that Nauris stayed late on the Friday to ensure works were complete before the weekend. We are delighted with the finished work and would highly recommend D J Newberry.

DJ Newberry Construction Ltd removed the old rotten fence in front of my driveway, concreted my 12m L-shaped pathway along the entrance to my back garden, as the slabs were extremely uneven and put up a new gate (photo is of the work the day it was completed). Gate is now fully functioning. A 2mx2m concrete slab was also completed in front of my shed to level out the ground. It's made a huge difference to my garden, making it look neater and more accessible for me and my daughter. The workmen arrived on time, if not earlier than expected. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and worked hard!

DJ Newberry Construction Ltd has done 3 jobs for me. We had an extension and 2 concrete public manholes that ran next to it, which were 2 meters deep. They came in with the right machinery, the right people and the right skills to get them out and moved. Changed them to new standard manholes which are plastic and they did all of that within a couple days. They leveled the garden for me as well as it was on a slope. And they built a 20 - 25 meter retaining wall which was all done with breeze blocks, they sourced the materials, which made things easier for me. They were tidy, on time and worked hard.

They were reliable, on time and the work was completed quicker than expected.
