Dream Doors (Basingstoke & Newbury)

They did a job that few people would touch; replacing a wooden worktop with a modern one, refitting hob, taps and sink with a replacement plumbing kit for sink that was leaking. Quite fiddly as not a like for like replacement. We had one false start due to a miscommunication between the estimator and the fitter but once that was sorted out they did a great job.

We agreed on a PROVISIONAL start date for this 3 day project; however, it was pointed out that the majority of deliveries from the factory suffer transit damage on some items [so start may be delayed]. This seems to be accepted as the cost of doing business, rather than select a carrier who exercises some TLC! Their Installations Mgr. Who came out to do final measurements was very late; also seems to find it acceptable to send out condescending e mails to clients. Our project was delayed because of transit damage; what a surprise! Their communications with us over new start date appalling.

Very pleased with the outcome. Efficient, friendly workman.
