Ideal Building and Landscapes made a new curved path of blue brick pavers to replace the old straight one of concrete slabs. It has transformed my garden. The work was all done within a couple of days to a high professional standard. Thanks to Sam, Dom and Phil for translating my ideas into an actual path which is exactly what I wanted. They were £1000 cheaper than another quote I had! I have had work ( new shed and patio ) done by Ideal before and can thoroughly recommend them. They are nice to have around and good at understanding and interpreting what you want, and giving constructive suggestions. Thanks again Sam and the team.

Had our tarmac drive removed for block paving BIG MISTAKE Damaged our wall to the side of house with digger Uneven cuts round downpipes Broken brick inserted hoping we wouldn't see it Damaged our security post so we cant use it Driveway is completely uneven even the edging strips do not match not notified of problem was told I’ll pop round when I've got time.. you were quick enough to take our money The driveway is absolutely shocking We would never recommend you Jobsworth.

Sam and his team did an excellent job putting down a patio on a very messy and uneven back garden. Sam suggested several improvements to my original specification; all of which I am glad we implemented. But there was no 'hard sell'. Sam went with me to select the caramel sandstone. The team were punctual, friendly, and very hardworking. Sam is an impressive young organiser, and deserves every success. I also mentioned that I was thinking of a base for a shed. They suggested having it done while the digger was on site, and before the patio was laid. All done without fuss at a very fair price. I cannot recommend them enough, and would certainly use them again. I chose Ideal partly because they were Which? recommended, and I am glad I did so.

Excellent service from quote through to finish. The team did an great job putting down porcelain slab patio in my back garden. The team were excellent whilst doing the work did not bother me too much as I was working from home. They listened to what I requested in orientation of the slabs and even did the steps despite the challenges. They only asked me to pay once I was satisfied with the work. I would use them again.

Amazing patio installed by Ideal! Sam and his team were a pleasure to have here. Not only were they all hard working and highly skilled in what they do, they were friendly and respectful of the neighbours too, and even they complimented the team! We had an old decked patio, slabbed patio and path replaced by a ceramic tiled patio throughout. Great advice throughout the whole experience with no hard sell. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sam and Ideal Building and Landscapes to anyone considering a new patio or landscaping!

Very pleased with the standard of work, removing a line of trees and a wall and installing fencing on three sides. The three workmen were all friendly and hardworking and did a superb job of clearing up afterwards

We’ve been searching for the right company to undertake the work we wanted doing after our new conservatory was built. After many weeks of visits and quotes, none of which we were happy with, we visited a garden centre and asked for their advice/recommendations and they pointed out Sam the owner of Ideal Building and Landscapes who happened to be at the centre the same time. Sam agreed to visit us and survey and quote us for the work we wanted doing. We trusted Sam and decided to proceed with his company. Sam sent his team - Dom, Phil and Adam to undertake the work and wow wow wow what a transformation was made to our very tired 21 year old patio which they replaced with porcelain tiles. We are well over the moon with the finished work and would thoroughly recommend Ideal.

The work was carried out to an excellent standard by a well mannered gang of workmen. Most pleasing was that the area was cleared up and left neat and tidy. I would recommend Ideal to anyone and would certainly use them again for day future work . Excellent.
