I am so pleased I went with James at JP Plastering. As you can see from the photo the task in hand was not a straight forward flat wall and it was a big area to cover, also very high. I work from home and noticed James did not take a break even for lunch on the first day, no loud music just a keenness to complete within the scheduled time of 2 days. I found James to be personable and honest, his quote was very reasonable. I have since asked James to quote and come back on two further occasions to plaster other areas of the house, the plastering to touch is extremely flat and smooth so it looks great painted.

We had large part of our ceiling come down after decorating. This was the original plaster from over 100 years ago. James accessed the whole ceiling and advised that only a small amount more needed to be removed and he could repair the rest. Rather than the expense of replacing the entire ceiling and coving James repaired and blended it in to the rest of the ceiling. This was a while ago and it’s still looking great! We also used James to plaster 2 part of our kitchen walls, blocking up an old cat flap and covering newly installed sockets. All perfect and again blended well into the existing walls. Perfect!! Will be calling on James again for more up and coming projects!

Hi, James has done a number of plastering jobs for us over the last 18months. He helped repair the walls after we had our electrics re-wired. He also re-plastered most of our ground floor for our kitchen renovation. He is always really friendly, hardworking and transparent. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time we have used James always punctual and as tidy as any plasterer can be, high standard of finish and above all that a very pleasant man.

Using a new tradesperson is always a risk but James has proven to be great. He did a few small jobs and I was very satisfied, so much so that I had all our ceilings re done including some very high ones. He arrived on time, worked hard and did a first class job. I have already recommended him to a number of friends and neighbours, all of whom have been equally happy.

Jamie has been a pleasure to have working in our home! We required extensive plastering following on from a double storey rear extension and loft conversion. Jamie was always polite and punctual. He explained step-by-step what works he would be carrying out to achieve the best results and was always clean and tidy. We are extremely happy with the end result as was the painter who’s job was made easier due to a ‘great plastered finish.’
