Northants Timber Floors

I have used this company for a number of years. I initially had many of the floors in my house laid with timber. Recently we noticed that general wear and tear had discoloured them paticularly at the front and patio doors. We contacted Pete and asked him to replace the damaged timbers. He said he could be it would not look right as new timber against old. Makes sense. He suggested rubbing down the timbers to removes the marks and do the same to the whole floor. The he covered them in oil. When that was dry he polished them. He did dining room, sitting room and hallway and corridor. It looks brilliant. My wife and I are chuffed to bits. Great advice Pete and great work. Not only that Pete then helped me to move furniture back which he didn't need to do!! First class service. Thank you.

Pete did an absolutely fantastic job sanding down and re-treating our oak floor. He was professional, polite, punctual, and very friendly throughout the whole process. His workmanship and attention to detail far exceeded our expectations, and the end result looks fabulous. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the service he provided was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pete and would happily use his services again.

Five star review for a five star job, extremely happy with the final finish and the whole process to be honest. The quote was broken down into sections which made it easy to understand what we were paying for. Pete was very patient whilst we made our minds on on brand and style, he offered advice on brands to use but wasn't pushing any particular Brand. There was no drama when we asked for a couple of late changes either. I summary a straight forward quote, Pete did exactly what he said he within the time scale quoted. Would 100% recomend him to family and friends.

We had a very dark wooden floor that was making our narrow hallway even darker. The quality of the floor was good so rather than rip it all up and replace we were recommended to contact Pete to see if he could sand and finish it to make it brighter. Pete came out and reviewed the floor and advised what we could expect. It was considerably cheaper than installing a new floor and all the mess and time that would incur it was a no brainer. Pete worked really hard and got the job done in less than a couple of days which is what he preadvised. My husband and I are delighted with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pete for his work and professionalism.

Pete was absolutely fantastic, he turned up when he said he was going to , was so hard working , efficient and was extremely tidy and the laminate floor looked wonderful and it was laid to a very high standard . Would highly recommend Pete , real lovely down to earth guy who is obviously a very conscientious person , who likes to make sure whatever he does is done to its best. Its difficult choosing a person to carry out any jobs in your home so that's why I always go by recommendations , as you only want to do the job once and not have to get a second company in to repair/make good the job of the first company . So I would give Pete 5☆ as I couldn't have asked for a better job .

Peter repaired a water damaged corner of our wooden floor in our lounge . We were impressed by his attention to detail and would thoroughly recommend him.

Peter was very professional and hes work is very precise and he was choosing the nicest parts to put then on visible places .. he didn’t rush at all he was taking his time to make the floor best possible.. and he is very friendly and honest person .. higly recommend him !! Peter was amazing! I cannot recommend him highly enough. He restored floor boards in two bedrooms from a very sorry state to the beautiful finish in the photo. He also did a wonderful job of boarding and laying Kardean flooring in my shower room. He is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice and ideas about my floors. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. He is a lovely man too, who I was more than happy to leave in my house. I was amazed there was absolutely no dust! I am beyond delighted.🤩
