James and his team were outstanding from start to finish. The price was reasonable, all work was done to an incredibly high standard and the team were very polite, punctual and hard-working. James kept me updated throughout the project and answered any questions I had. PBS is a company I would highly recommend for any building works - they gave me an extension that I enjoy every day!

Built single story extension to rear of property, completely transformed the house and living space! Highly reccomend. Timely, punctual, high quality, efficient. We are hoping to have them back to complete a roof conversation asap

The attention to detail from James and his team was exceptional. As with any project there was inevitable build issues which James found solutions for to keep the project on track. All of the sub contractors were equally attentive in each of their fields, would highly recommend PBS to anyone who was considering a home development.

From start to finish PBS were professional, courteous and hardworking. James and the lads did a fantastic job on our single storey extension which has quite literally added a new dimension to our home. We can’t fault the finished article and throughout the build James kept us up to date as to what had been achieved and what was to come next. At the end of every working day our driveway and frontage were jet washed and tidied and this was done regardless of who was on site that day. James used high quality materials and even suggested ways in which things could be improved for everyday usage (especially the Velux arrangement), above and beyond the architectural stage. We would highly recommend PBS, and we already have, to our friends, family and neighbours. First-Class!

PBS were an excellent company to work with on our extension and garage project. James and his team work to a very high standard and the fantastic space is better than we could have imagined. The knowledge and attention to detail that James brings made the process easy, he kept in regular contact and came up with design ideas which made the finish even better. James was the only person who gave us a truly accurate quote with breakdown of costs and took time to bring his team to site to price different elements of the project. From this initial contact we had a real sense that this was a very considered and methodical approach, which has continued with well planned stages throughout the renovation. Buildings regulations inspections and structural surveys were involved from the outset, James insisting that he had no problem with his work being under the scrutiny of the inspector. All members of the team have been lovely, good humoured and hard working. Communication has been good despite the company being very busy. Changes we’ve made have been accommodated without any issues and we’ve received a lot of good advice on places to source flooring, bathroom products and the kitchen. We’ve had a very good experience and one we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Truly professional work, I’m very glad we decided to use PBS York Ltd.

The team at PBS were very good and we are delighted with the finished extension. James's team were very polite and considerate tidying up on a daily basis before leaving. Not the cheapest quote but did get a feeling of confidence from the start that the work would be of a high standard. Response to queries were always made promptly. Would totally recommend PBS.
