We produce our green oak timber framed buildings in the beautiful setting of the Peak District. All our frames are bespoke to individual designs and made to the highest standards. Peak Oak Frames sources sustainable timber and strives to use locally sourced materials whenever we can. We cover the whole of the Midlands and the North of England but are not adverse to travelling further afield for larger builds and one of a kind projects. We are a flexible oak framing company able to work on both traditional timber frame carpentry and modern timber engineering projects. Our time-served carpenters have worked on projects ranging from small domestic additions, through to Cathedrals, historic buildings and some of the UK's largest timber engineering projects. Drawing on this knowledge and experience we approach every job with an open mind and the needs and dreams of the client paramount to our designs. Every project is completely individual and is tailored around your ideas. When possible we love to work with natural building products such as lime, hemp, straw bale, shingle, wool and other environmentally sustainable products to produce structures with a very low carbon footprint. From our base in Sheffield we can cover a large area including Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Cheshire and of course the Peak District.
