Guttering and (possibly) roughcasting I have a good experience overall. He's a 2 person business. I was very happy He said yes to cast iron gutters as none of the roughcasters wanted to deal with the cast, all of them wanted to sell me cheap plastic gutters. He was the only one who showed me colour choices and said nothing about me wanting a light colour. Yes, I know it can get dirty but I just can't stand the dull look of pinkish-grey or something that looks dirty by default. So it's Ashton cream for us over white backer, it looks amazing IMO. Few issues were finding a scaffolding company due to the virus hysteria, but Hugh sorted it promptly. The work on the house was done: - Replaced rusted cast iron gutters and downpipes with new ones - New roughcast It looks fresh and watertight just before the bad weather. There's a visible vertical bead in the middle of the front wall because the cement sets faster than one people can work with it, but that was expected. There are also visible marks in some places where the work was restarted, which is only visible when the sun is at a certain degree. I'm ok with that. They cleaned up and also left some brick cleaner so I can clean up droppings that were not visible when wet. Our neighbourhood looks a little nicer, so thank you. It's a very big compliment from someone who's a picky perfectionist, like me (according to wife)

Fascias/Soffits/Gutters/ Downpipes Repairs Work is about to begin. Hugh has been very helpful in clarifying the details an has updated regularly on preparations. Looking forward to completion of job.

Fit new velux window Highly recommended, fantastic service and quality workmanship. Hugh et al. fitted two velux windows and repaired a previous installation by another roofer. We are planning on using the services of Advanced Roofing and Construction in the very near future.
