Had a new bathroom fitted early this year and had a fantastic experience. Unfortunately had a stop to replaced a couple of weeks ago and the plumber covered the downstairs toilet laminate flooring in water which caused the floor to swell. The plumber was asked to come back and upon demonstrating what had happened did the same thing again. He was completely disinterested in what he had done and gave no apology. My partner contacted alpha and was shouted and screamed at by the female employee down the phone. The sales manager Peter Morgan during a series of text messages said that what the plumber had done couldn't have caused the floor to swell basically calling me a liar. I explained that the floor was perfect before and now needs replacing. He has refused on 2 occasions to come and view it for himself. I now have to have the floor taken up and replaced at my own expense. The company has not taken any responsibility and caused us great distress knowing that my partner had a stroke earlier this year. When things go well everything is fine but when there's an issue they close ranks and call their customers liars. I am beyond appalled and disgusted and will never use them again. We've used Alpha Heating three times for our main bathroom, en-suite and downstairs WC, that says it all really! They have a wide range and all prices are very competitive. Pete the salesman is very helpful and knowledgeable and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. Alpha modified our hot water system by installing a pressurised unvented cyclinder. The system works brilliantly and was installed without any trouble to a high standard. The service was professional from start to finish and then staff were highly competent. The support staff in the office are also a pleasure to deal ensuring good communication throughout the job.
