Brendan and Andy took on another big complex job for us. The job entailed taking down a large roof with rotting beams and completely rebuilding it. The job required extensive scaffolding with top hat. Massive heavy steel and timber beams, purlins and rafters that all go into creating a roof had to be installed. Taking down the old roof with dodgy apex and chimney was challenging. The team replaced all the fascia’s, soffits and guttering. They also did a lovely job on a little decorative overhang, which had been in a dreadful state. The work they carried out inside the house is immaculate completely transforming the rooms with freshly plastered walls, new ceilings and a beautiful new flooring to the main sitting room which was quite a project, as the original flooring had to come up and below was just dirt. There are so many other things that went into this job. I could go on and on. But what I really want to say is “What a team!!!” and I am ever so grateful to them.

The whole project has been carried out professionally, with clear communication at every step, as well as giving us advice and guidance too, they're knowledge and skill is impeccable. They are now currently in process of removing old external walls and installing the steel work. We are extremely happy with the results so far and would not hesitate to recommend Brendan and Andy for any building work!

From first communication Brendan and Andy have been nothing but professional, honest and friendly. They have undertaken an extremely tricky underpinning job and extensive remedial work to several walls. They are very very skilled and knowledgable gentlemen, and experts in their field. They explained everything to us from the beginning and everyday give an update, always keeping us in the loop. They work extremely hard, arriving promptly every morning. The work we have had carried out is extremely messy, but they do their utmost to keep things tidy. They go over and above, and are so conscientious. I actually could not recommend them highly enough. I feel blessed to have them working on our property. To top it all they are very nice people. If you are thinking of having work done. Look no further. You will not go wrong with this team. Very hardworking builders, at site every day and did a very good job overall. Brickwork and pointing great. Only reason they’re not a 5* is we had a couple of minor issues with plans being misunderstood. Otherwise, would highly recommend

Otherwise, would highly recommend Answer from tradesperson: We started the project on the understanding all drawings was in place we did the demolition and started the set out for the rap around extension and for the rest of the drawings IE building regs at that time we were informed there were not in place so we sorted out with building control to do it on a building notice so it landed up to be a design and build project and no calculations of engineer which we completed in a high standard and a quick time scale but no reflection on the clients as they were really lovely to work for Reply created 8 Apr 2025

Chimney Breast removal. The removal of chimney breast went very well . Hats off for the team of lads who made a cracking job. Communication was very good and customer service at top notch. Thank you fellas for awesome job. Highly recommended. (Updated on 23 May 2024)

Demolish garage and slab. Did all the work needed, quickly and efficiently while keeping everywhere clean and tidy. Second time I have used Brendan and he always takes pride in his work.

Extension to existing hall and adding a bathroom. Brendan arrived early every morning and always explained what he was going to do each day. He is an incredibly hard worker and did a brilliant job on the groundworks and foundations, always keeping the site tidy. Not only is he a real professional but also a really nice guy. As the remainder of the job nears completion we are really pleased with all of the trades involved in the construction and the excellent quality of their work. I can thoroughly recommend Brendan and his team.

Kitchen Extension When Brendan was ready to start the extension, Welsh water were holding up the build so they built a garden wall, repositioned bedroom window, fitted a lintel on the bathroom window and built a small extension on the front bedroom with new lintel. Brickwork was excellent, Andy is a very good bricklayer and takes pride in his work. When Welsh water had finally given permission they started the 12m x 4 m extension, they dug and poured the foundations at a depth of 1.6m within a week, changed the drains and built to dpc with slab poured the second week and built the extension shell third and forth week. All their work was to the drawings and of high quality and kept everywhere clean and tidy when possible as they had to endure a very wet month. They are a great team of lads who know what they are doing and work with building control, they get the job done and all their work has been of excellent quality and are neat and tidy. I was pleased with the price paid for all the work. They will be my first call for any more work i need doing in future.

Single story Extension All the stress and worry about choosing the right builders who were reliable, punctual and produced high-quality work were unfounded when we hired Brendan, Andy, Dave & James to build a large 9x3m rear extension. They turned up 8am daily and the work was completed quickly while being to an extremely high standard. Their knowledge is outstanding from years of being in the building trade and any questions I had were answered and put my mind at ease. This process has been easy with no problems, I can’t fault them at all. I have no hesitation at all to recommend Brendan, Andy, James & Dave to help build your dream home.

Single story extension Brendan and the rest of the team were both efficient and effective. They seemed knowledgeable and kept us informed of progress and what else needed to be done. Very personable with a lively manner. I would recommend them. Oh. and they brought their own tea and milk!

Rear Extension 4 x 4 M Andy, Dave and Brendon have been our amazing, they have been an absolute pleasure to deal with, they are trustworthy , professional, reliable, efficient, friendly, hardworking and conscientious. The have excellent communication skills and kept us informed along the way with what was happening and when they have restored our faith that there are builders out there who are excellent and do a proper job– and its these guys. We would recommend them without hesitation, in fact we would go as far to say don’t bother with any other builders use these guys, you will not be sorry (we can say that honestly in hindsight) We don’t normally leave gushing review’s but these guys deserve every compliment plus many more. We would be more than happy to chat to anyone thinking of having building work done. We had an extension built by another Builder and after five months of him working on it (he originally quoted 8-10 weeks) it was condemned by Building Control and had to be demolished. We were absolutely devastated; not only because we were back to square one but also we had paid the original builder a significant amount of money. Dave and Andy ‘squeezed’ us into their busy schedule and finished the extension and its brilliant we love it, just sorry we never used these in the first place, we would have saved ourselves from a tremendous amount of stress and money. Extension These are excellent lads completed excellent work for us really great to talk to and trustworthy. Would highly recommend for any type of project. We were sorry they actually had to move on.

Front & Back Extension I followed the old "Get 3 Quotes" rule for an extension on my property. The other two tradesmen walked in, looked around and then quoted me an over-inflated price without even whipping out their tape measure. One flashed me a smile and ask for a 50% deposit upfront. Nice try. Then I met Brendan, who completely changed my perception of builders on this site. Brendan and his team took the time to discuss my project and what I was hoping to achieve. Rather than just agree and cut to the bit where I part with my cash, they offered expert advice and made suggestions for a slicker result. Their advice was bang on for Building Regulations, made the extension more energy efficient, and saved on costs. Throughout the project, I was impressed by their professional approach, attention to detail and high quality of work. Not only do these guys clearly know their stuff, they're bloody nice chaps too. They left the area super tidy, considered my safety and even made time for a little attention-seeking Chihuahua. Top marks. The result, is an amazing space, which has turned a house into a home. I'd love to leave a bad review, because Brendan is so awesome, I don't actually want to share him. But in a quest to save women from the minefield of rogue traders out there, I'll do my bit... This is the guy you want.

Looking for a fabulous builder to take on the job! I’m so glad I hired Brendan and his team to start work on our extension and garage conversion. From day one, Brendan has been reliable, hardworking and really conscientious. He even worked on a Bank Holiday to keep our job running on time. He is really knowledgeable about his trade, and always happy to answer any questions/queries we might have and offers great advice too. He is also the cleanest builder I have ever met! Brendan is obsessed with keeping the site tidy, and when he leaves at the end of the day, it’s looks like he’s never been here.
