I've used the Battersea/CJ branch of this company twice to replace hideous laminate tiles with Amtico Spacia vinyl tiles. They are absolutely superb - the quality of work (both fittings done by Graham) is excellent, they offer value for money and accurate quoting. Would definitely use again.
Capitol's estimate for laying Amtico vinyl in the kitchen came in at about 30% less than a local rival's. Their team arrived promptly, disconnected the washing machine, dishwasher and gas cooker and stacked them, on thick underlay they provided, in the hall along with the fridge freezer. When they took up the old Marmoleon they found an earlier concrete skim had partially disintegrated. They cleared up the mess, levelled the floor then finished it with a latex coat and laid the new vinyl. Though this necessitated working on a second day, they stuck to their estimate.We are very happy with their work. Recommended
Barry came to fit new vinyl flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. He was most pleasant and helpful, and his work was neat, tidy and precise. Really pleased. I would highly recommend Capitol Carpets for their competitive pricing, high quality workmanship and excellent service.

Sarah sent me photos of a huge selection of carpets, talked me through my choices, and organised everything over the phone. Estimates and invoices alike arrived in minutes and she was helpful, courteous and well informed. The fitters came on time, carried out a bedframe I hadn't been able to shift, used environmentally friendly products and did a fantastic job. I will never use another carpet company. A totally stress free, smooth operation!

From the moment we popped in to talk to the guys in the shop on St John's Hill to the day the carpet was fitted, everything went completely smoothly. We had to delay progressing the work until the house was ready but were never hassled by the shop during all that time (a year). We returned to take up their quote because of the excellent service we knew we'd receive. The team at the shop were always courteous, polite, friendly and helpful. The carpet is perfect for our needs; a tight budget but looks great and met the brief. The fitter was excellent too - friendly, polite and efficient. Overall, we are very happy with Capitol Carpets and have already recommended them to friends and wouldn't hesitate to tell others.
