"The walls, floor and electrics in a small loft area were all badly damaged following a leak from the upstairs flat and required replacing, as did a party wall in the bedroom and the bathroom ceiling. So there was general building work, painting, electrics, plumbing and tiling (bathroom floor had to be replaced) involved. Tom oversaw the work on site and was fantastic - really pleasant and helpful. Really happy."

"The job was to remove a built-in cupboard to create space in the hallway (demolition, rerouting of pipes, make-good), refloor and repaint the hallways, and update the staircase (new carpet, new banister, resolve creaks). Chalk Build did a great job, always prioritising health and safety (e.g. not disturbing asbestos tiles). Communication was excellent throughout the project, with any potential delays flagged early and costs explained transparently. Mustafa was great at making suggestions and coming up with ideas for what could work in the space. Finished product very good. Overall great job."
