Highlights

"Gary's work was exemplary. The lads arrived on time every day. They were always so happy and helpful. We added extra works throughout the build and nothing was too much trouble. The work was completed to the highest standard and we are so happy with the end result. Nothing was too much trouble for Gary - who I trusted implicitly and who had great ideas! We didn't regret the upheaval once. A definite recommendation from us!"

"Gary and his team were extremely professional from start to finish. From assistance with building control, to completion of the project we were very happy with how the work was carried out and we were always kept informed of how the project was going. The garage conversion was completed on time and too a high standard. I would fully recommend using Clark Clayton and Sons as I know I will be using them again for any further work."

"We love our house and were really happy with Clark Clayton. The quality of the work is excellent and they were all really professional and helpful. I had a small job that needed doing a few months later too and they sorted this out promptly. Highly recommended."

Electrical work in homes in England & Wales should be done by a registered competent person who can self-certify it meets the Part P safety rules. Check they're on the official register.

Check the electrical register
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
