About Colin Macinnes Architectural Design

I set up Colin MacInnes Architectural Design having spent around ten years working on a wide variety of projects in a central London architectural practice. I'm interested in projects of all sizes but enjoy the challenge of unusual, difficult or space-limited sites. I'm experienced in working with and adding to older buildings, and also have an interest in sustainable and energy-efficient design. Having carried out my own extensive 'self-build' renovation where I did all the physical building work myself, I have a practical approach to design, but make a point of looking beyond the most obvious design solutions. This means I often suggest to clients options that they might not have thought of themselves - but always listening carefully to what they want, and making sure that what we end up with fully reflects that.
