Painting 3 ceilings Highly recommend Daniel & his team, from the very first impression at the pricing stage Daniel was miles ahead of other people quoting, he was the only one to take the time to measure up when he visited, his price was slightly higher than other but I was very impressed at our initial meeting I was happy to pay more, it certainly paid off. They all were extremely tidy, careful, respectful, very hard working, perfect results!! I would highly recommend Daniel, another positive is I'm a lone female and I felt very at ease with all his team, I even felt secure enough to leave them my keys and alone while I went to work, their attention to the little details makes them a very valuable contact to have in your phone. Paint Stripping (Urgent) AVOID. I hired Dango to strip and finish skirting board and window area in my lounge Victorian tenement lounge. This was perfect wood that in 130 years had had one coat of varnish and two of paint. I've received an estimate of £3000-£4000 to repair the damage Dango did in one day. The job should have been done with heat guns and care. They used angle grinder and chisels as witnessed by my dog walker. The flat of the skirting board is sanded so far back that the moulding stands proud. Mouldings on the window shutter are completely mangled where paint was chiselled off. A vertical pole had paint stripped with an angle grinder and will never be round again. Flat panels of solid wood have been sanded into dips with the angle grinder (no longer possible to get timber that wide so replacement will be plywood). The multi-trade builder who provided the estimate said they wouldn’t take on the job and suggested that I use a manufacturer of bespoke staircases as mouldings will need to be individually machined. I contacted Dango after the first day to tell them not to come back. They said it only looked bad because it needed more sanding. I also note that paintwork in a house of this age ought not be sanded as it may contain lead. My furniture was inadequately covered with dust sheets that didn’t reach to the floor. The backs of both sofas were bare. Not expecting sanding, my oil paintings were uncovered on the walls. Dango were seen smoking inside my home. Answer from tradesperson: First of all we did not destroy, the work was not finished, we left the dirt because you did not want to pay and here the attention to other companies to be careful about this woman!
