We have created the below paragraph statement that should help if you have not commissioned the design and manufacture of bespoke furniture before and are wondering what the likely costs would be. Cost and process for commissioning the design & manufacture of bespoke furniture: There is nothing better than having your own bespoke furniture designed and built to your own specifications and it will by far outlast any off the shelf mass produced furniture. However bespoke furniture can be a significant investment, with the associated costs being several times the price of pre designed off the shelf furniture that is mass produced. As a rough guide a freestanding painted wardrobe that may cost say £1500 off the shelf would likely cost at least 3-4 times this to produce as a one off to your bespoke design & sizes. If specialist finishes such as exotic veneers or high gloss lacquer work is required then this too will also reflect in the price, along with the general complexity of the design, size of the piece(s) and whether or not it is delivery only or requires on site fitting. If you have a budget in mind then please do provide this by return as this will help us in the concept design stages, ensuring that you get the best value and design for your money.
