We are a forward-thinking and energetic team of design-oriented chartered structural engineers based in London. We approach each project with an eye for detail, to ensure that the result meets your needs, whilst staying cost-effective. At the heart of our studio is an approachable, qualified team that have a focus on providing a personal service to every project, no matter the size. Fardad is a chartered structural engineer with 15 years’ industry experience in the UK, Europe, and the Middle-East. He has worked on a wide range of design-led projects in all major sectors including refurbishment schemes, tall buildings/high-rise, deep basements, high-end residential projects, retail and commercial buildings. In addition to this, Fardad has been teaching at UCL and has collaborated as an instructor with Drawing at Work and the Engineering Club on the Drawing Gymnasium initiative over the past 7 years. He is passionate about learning and is currently reading a part-time Maths degree at University of London. In our company, we are problem solvers. We engage fully with each project from conception to completion in order to arrive at an elegant structural solution that meets the clients' requirements, fulfills architectural aspirations and enhances its surrounding environment. In addition to using the latest analysis, design, and draughting software, we make extensive use of hand-drawn sketches as a way of thinking in the development of our solutions as well as a means of communicating our ideas with our clients and partners. Our sketches are clear and seek to tell a story by dissecting complex forms and assemblages into a coherent set of diagrams to help visualise how the structure works with other components of the build.
