Gem have gone in to administration leaving my elderly parents property unfinished and uncertified.
Having booked our extension from them, 3 months before work was due to start, they asked for a £7000 deposit. 4 weeks before work was due to start we get an email saying they have ceased trading. They must of know the state of their finances when they took our £7000. The director of the company has a couple of other businesses still trading, so they have basically taken our money
