I had paid over £700 for the first bill, which had to be amended due to errors, and the second one at over £450 was also incorrect. This second bill is being disputed. Despite the plumbers having good temperaments and seemingly trying their best, they do not do the job properly. Then you get charged for their coming back again to fix their mistakes! After 34 emails and then both our recorded delivery letters about the disputed bill, the co-owner has now reduced the bill a little. I am still very unhappy with this invoice and the fact that I have spent at least 10 hours going back and forth with them and getting legal advice. This has made me ill and that is the reason why I have agreed to the reduced bill, which is only less £129 + vat from the £455.
The trader didn’t appear happy and wasn’t a tidy worker. System worked for 2 months. Boiler manufacturer said system not flushed out properly and had to renew heat exchanger. Almost unheard of after 2 months. Company arranged a proper flush out and now are charging us over £800! I would not recommend.
