“I highly recommend Hall & Randall Plumbers and have been using them for a number of years. When my very old high level cistern overflowed they responded immediately and fixed the problem. I then asked for an estimate for the replacement of the cistern & pan which was emailed promptly and a convenient date was arranged. Their plumber, Steve was fantastic, friendly and professional; he worked tirelessly to get a difficult job done without complaining. Thanks also to his colleagues Hadley and Jack who Steve called in to help; both were also friendly and professional. When the job was finished Steve explained the workings of the new system and cleared away the rubbish leaving the site clean and tidy. Excellent service”

The trader didn’t appear happy and wasn’t a tidy worker. System worked for 2 months. Boiler manufacturer said system not flushed out properly and had to renew heat exchanger. Almost unheard of after 2 months. Company arranged a proper flush out and now are charging us over £800! I would not recommend.
I had paid over £700 for the first bill, which had to be amended due to errors, and the second one at over £450 was also incorrect. This second bill is being disputed. Despite the plumbers having good temperaments and seemingly trying their best, they do not do the job properly. Then you get charged for their coming back again to fix their mistakes! After 34 emails and then both our recorded delivery letters about the disputed bill, the co-owner has now reduced the bill a little. I am still very unhappy with this invoice and the fact that I have spent at least 10 hours going back and forth with them and getting legal advice. This has made me ill and that is the reason why I have agreed to the reduced bill, which is only less £129 + vat from the £455.
Hall & Randall have given us excellent and cheerful service over many years. This time they fitted a new pump and valves for the boiler.
When booking, I was told it'd be around £60 per hour but then I was charged almost twice that (some hidden transport costs). Also had to callback the engineer as the job was not done well, which I was charged for again. After calling, the CS rep could only reduce the transport costs on the 2nd job. Not great value for your money
Excellent service and completed very quick. Recommend James who sorted my boiler. Job well done.
