After viewing the damp survey report I was surprised to see how basic it was. No meter readings or photos recorded to add any analysis. Only a suggestion of a dehumidifier and to increase ventilation. During the survey it was a shrug and the same explanation of “it’s physics”, as if that was going to solve the problem I was having. Complete lack of empathy, no real long term solutions and a lack of knowledge on products. I was expecting more from a survey that costs £80 and a company that is “accredited”.

Survey was carried out quickly and efficiently and a report and estimate was produced. Work was carried out shortly there after to a great standard and the workers were polite and tidy. Very happy.

DPC was installed downstairs, messing job but workmanship was excellent, they covered my furniture, protected my flooring & done a lovely finishing to my walls & left clean & tidy.

There was damp in our boiler cupboard so we asked Hillcrest to do a survey. This was done promptly, and we accepted the estimate for the installation of a damp proof course to solve the problem, which extended beyond the cupboard to the whole of the wall. We agreed an early date to have the work done and all went according to plan. The two men who did the work arrived promptly, were efficient and polite, and cleared up when they had finished. We would not hesitate to employ this company again.
