Paul recently completed treating a damp problem in our lounge and one of our bedrooms. He initially did a thorough survey, and we received a written report. (There was a very small charge for this, which is deducted from the cost should you decide to go ahead. We didn't mind this at all, as Paul did conduct a thorough survey.) He was friendly and professional; arrived when he said he would; cleared up everything afterwards. All in all I would highly recommend Paul and Homeguard Damp and Timber Ltd. No criticisms at all! One very happy customer.

Paul came to assess issues that my mother was having with a couple of damp walls in her flat. He made a great effort to explain clearly what was causing the damp and practical actions that could be taken to prevent it. There was no remedial work required that he needed to complete - not trying to find work and being so honest was so refreshing. Paul did provide details for someone who could fit an upgraded extraction fan and they have been equally helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending using Paul to be the first person to call if you have any issues with damp

We have just moved into our first house and were made aware of possible damp in a few of our downstairs walls in our home buyers survey. We saw that Paul had great reviews so booked him to come and check it out and complete a damp survey for us. He was extremely prompt, and text prior to his arrival on the day to confirm we could still go ahead with our appointment. He checked the walls identified in our survey thoroughly and checked additional walls to make sure the damp had not spread further. He explained everything to us in a very clear and understandable way, and gave us lots of recommendations on how to fix the problem. He wasn’t pushy at all and gave an honest opinion on what he thought we should do to rectify the problem. Overall, I would highly recommend Paul to carry out any damp work/surveys.

We used Home Guard after seeing very positive reviews online. We was very impressed throughout the 4 days Paul was carrying out the works and was extremely happy with the result. Paul took alot of care ensuring the house remained as clean afterwards as it was before the wotks started. He was very knowledgeable and took time answering all the questions we had throught the 4 days. The price quoted beforehand was very reasonable and this remained the same at the end and did not go up. Overall very happy and will recommend to friends and family.
