Unfortunately my experience with this builder has been a nightmare. Mr Wood was hired to install a staircase and structural steel work. We paid for an architect and structural engineer to do the drawings and calculations. Mr Wood wouldnt start until we had paid a substantial deposit. After knocking my house to bits it was discovered that Mr Wood had put the steel in the wrong place and it was deemed unsafe and unsatisfactory by the building inspector.Mr Wood refused to come and put it right, and wouldn't give any money back. My house is still a building site.
