J&J flooring & carpet fitting

Carpet collection and fitting Could not carry out job as van was taken to the garage.

Need carpet &underlay fitted on stairs & s/landing Wish I had seen the previous negative feedback on this site or id have stayed away. Everything was a mess asked for my scissor to cut underlay. Then started the job took hours to put down carpet that had previously been cut to size so was just a case of laying. Snaped the grippers and hammered them in wrong all broken and wrong size. I noticed he had placed them in to wide for a runner on stairs. So he pulled them up leaving holes that now need filled and painted over. The underlay he ripped with his own hands and put pieces under carpet that didn't fit and I mean pieces. Said job was done and will come back next day to finish. The carpet came of grippers and thats when I noticed the mess underneath. So iv spent the day pulling up the grippers and filling holes not to mention looking for a professional carpet fitter. Oh and not to mention of the upstairs landing he fitted the cutting and underlay is terrible. I just don't have the money to get new carpet so it has to stay for now. I did call Steven straight away to rectify the issues but he blocked me and I left a text. Clearly he knew the mess he left. DO NOT HIRE

Carpets fitted ASAP Got him to put carpets down and he’s made a complete mess of it. Never underlaid the stairs and make a mess of the rooms. Would not use him (Updated on 28 Nov 2023)
